Apprenticeship Framework There are generally 3 elements to an Apprenticeship Framework:

• Competence Based Element (NVQ)
• Technical Element (Technical Certificate)
• Skill Element (Key Skills or Functional Skills

Levels of Apprenticeships

KiTA offer Apprenticeships at two levels.

1. Apprenticeship
   A learner will work towards a Level 2 NVQ and Technical Certificate, plus Key Skills or Functional Skills at Level 2 or 3. Successful completion of an Apprenticeship Framework is the equivalent to achieving five GCSE's grades A-C


2. Advanced Apprenticeship
   A learner on an Advanced Apprenticeship will work towards a Level 3 NVQ and Technical Certificate, plus Key Skills or Functional Skills at Level 2. Successful completion of an Advanced Apprenticeship Framework is equivalent to achieving two "A" Levels

Funding

Funding is available for all learners who start their Apprenticeships before their 25th Birthday.

Sectors

KiTA offer Apprenticeship Framework in two sectors:

1. Engineering Sector
2. Business Sector
